Citibank.co.in available offline

parts of www.citibank.co.in is avialable offline to Sify BB customers...it's due to provisionof offline credit card renewal 🙂

What about non-citibank card holders? Can they renew offline too?

yeah they can too.......it's only the gateway of citibank they are using .....i think u can use any visa/mastercard and i think even debit cards

sify has a lot of options in their card module i was quite surprised...

I can't use that renew offline thingy.
When I click on renew, it says page not found or something like network error etc, go to http://202.....

Yup, the offline renewal is problematic. I would advise against it. I tried doing it this month and got the same error twice. Basically my link to the server was broken and i was stuck coz the renewal thing doesn't have any back/refresh button. Both times this happened after payment had been made from my card, on the first occasion, i didnt even note down the authorisation code consequently had a hard time convincing sify's renewal department that they had received the money. Second time over i was better prepared and on giving the call centre fellow the bank reference number, my account was credited that night itself.
