Thanks a ton for that. But can u say a bit on :1. Indian domain name hosting and estimated rates ?2. Estimated webspace reqd. for forum hosting like urs ?I am asking u bcoz u have been doing these for sometime now...and experience is beyond money in some cases. 🙂

well use GoDaddy for domain name purchase. web space is mostly gamble. as for this forum... 50 megs should suffice for a start.

Thanks for the info...Most probably, I'll be trying ugtech FREE hosting for my new forum. If cyclone2k give me a good bargained price, I might look at that too.Anyway, I've heard that some indian hosts give away domains for 250/- only. Is it true ?

u can get cheap domains from a lot of places. but when it takes 10 hours for the nameserver to change... you know GoDaddy rocks. never compromise on the domain purchasing company.... webspace can be changed overnight... domain control is more important.
