Apple iPhone

I believe airtel does have liberalised 5MHz in Kol.

Yes they do.

  • 4G FDD LTE
    B5(850), B7(2600), B8(900), B20(800), B3(1800), B1(2100)
These are the bands supported by my device. Most operators are likely to launch 4G on 1800MHZ.

Anyone launching 4G on 900/800/2100 MHZ?

4g on 2100MHz or band 1 is possible in coming days. First 3g auction on 2100MHz is non-liberalized, so operators can't launch 4g on that. But the recent 2100MHz auction in mar2015 is liberalized spectrum and can be used to launch 4g. For eg in tn Airtel has got 2 x 5 MHz of band 1 spectrum [of which 1 x 5MHz is liberalized]. They can either launch 3g on 10MHz of band 1 or 3g on 5 MHz and 4g on 5 MHz of the same spectrum...

Further in 2016, 15MHz of liberalized spectrum on band 1 [2100MHz] in each circle [20MHz in case of Delhi, Mumbai and AP circles] is coming for auction.

Reg 900 MHz, it's more used for 3g and though it can be used for 4g, that's not matured enough.

Reg band 20, it's used in Europe and not in India.. Indian 800MHz doesn't comes under band 20..

Not kidding. Actual product. Priced at USD 20.

Oh someone will do that. But many others would simply get a new one & believe it was their fault that they trusted non-Apple guys to repair it >🙂

"We protect fingerprint data using a secure enclave, which is uniquely paired to the touch ID sensor. When iPhone is serviced by an authorised Apple service provider or Apple retail store for changes that affect the touch ID sensor, the pairing is re-validated. This check ensures the device and the iOS features related to touch ID remain secure. Without this unique pairing, a malicious touch ID sensor could be substituted, thereby gaining access to the secure enclave. When iOS detects that the pairing fails, touch ID, including Apple Pay, is disabled so the device remains secure.”
