Intra state disparity of telecom circles have already been addressed by the Department of telecommunications.As a result,the calls between Chennai and the rest of Tamil Nadu is now local,so as between Mumbai and the rest of Maharashtra.This was due to the short sightedness of the government by dividing India into different circles and licensing that followed.But does anyone know if the charges for these inter city calls(intra-state) have actually come down after this change or remain the same.Comments are welcome.
