MTNL Delhi Documents required for shifting?

I want to shift my connection to my new house, problem is, I have no documents or id of the new address, please help, any suggestion is welcome
 
talk to the line man and ask him to shift your connection , give him few bucks otherwise take a copy of your bill and maybe your electricity bell copy attached with it and take it to sanchar hatt , anything that will have address of your new home will work or they will make you right an application for change of address.
 
Line man can not shift unless wires end at the same junction box! (in which case bill will still go to old address and it will be illegal too)

He definitely needs address proof without which they will not entertain migration!

Otherwise they will ask for affidavit.
 
thanks for the reply, I do have the address proof but its on the name of previous owner, will that work? also I have shifted in the same colony.
