Centre to roll out new GST return filing system from October, host of other reforms
The Finance Ministry said it will introduce the new return system on a trial basis from July 1 and on mandatory basis from October 1. "Sahaj & Sugam returns for small taxpayers are proposed," it said.

Lets hope it really makes returns "Sahaj" else its going to make businesses and CAs totally crazy.
Although I havent had to pay anything. I managed to get my own accounts and was able to easily file returns. Ofcourse after 7-8 months of fine tuning.
Now I just hope they dont make me restart from scratch due to new return formats.
But the new softwares which are FREE for small businesses should now be helpful.
I have already tried Zoho and seems fine. Hoping that they come up with new format before it is launched.
May be other people can try other softwares and report here:
