Though I don't live in Bangalore but I would suggest you to change your name to avoid conflicts and legal problems as BBNL is set up by the government of India for the establishment, management and operation of National Optical Fibre Network. It is under Telecom department correct me if I am wrong

@uberjon yes it is, even I got confused by the name and misunderstood it as Bharat Broadband when I read "Bannerghatta Road who provides internet from BBNL" . Their websites are too confusing BBNL.co.in and BBNL.nic.in
BBNL: QOS is heavily dependent on the local Operator and you are literally at router mercy if the connection goes down. Their backbend is pretty stable.
