Hi ppl. Do I have to do some configuration changes in my DSL-502T Admin page for proper working of p2p software. Thing is, I'm not getting good speeds on torrents. Both Bittornado and WinMX say that I cannot accept incoming connections. However, Bitcomet, Limewire and mIRC are running without any apparent errors but the download speeds are pretty low. This is so confusing...please help me find out if there is any port blocking at my end or by MTNL and how to get rid of that. Thanks.

Firstly, Have you disabled all the firewalls. or free the ports which limewire and Bitcomets are using.

Secondly, It seems incoming ports have been blocked.. Try using port 6000 or 6666.
Third, Try the tedious route. Download Azureus and use its Nat/Firewall test and manually test every port.

Lastly, Call MTNL and ask them which ports have been kept open for incoming connections. Usually they will not tell which ports are open.

As said by the !lowid command of eMule, check the following :1. Disable/Free Ports if a Firewall is used2. If using a router, enable port forwarding.3. Try to change portsI'm on DataOne and using Limewire Pro 4.8.1 with JRE 1.5.03 without any additional configuration using the DSL-502T. Getting good speeds. 😀
