My main SMS app "SMS Organizer" still hasn't provided RCS support. So I am not sure what am I missing. Some RCS spam messages discussed in other threads? 😂

Only Google Messages and Samsung Messages have rcs from my understanding.

I'm unable to enable it on my Samsung S22 Ultra. I'm using Jio and Samsung messages.
When I turn on the Chat features in the message settings, it automatically gets turned off.
Even Advanced Calling and Messaging option is greyed out. Does anybody have any idea what's going on?

Even on my jio it is disabled but working on vi sim, I think Jio does not support RCS as of now

Jio boasts about having the latest and greatest of technologies in their network but doesn't support RCS? That seems like an anomaly.
I do remember that back in 2018 days, it did have support for all the advanced calling features.

Jio RCS doesn't work with samsung messaging app. You can try with google messages.

@User007 It used to work on my J7 until at least 2021 and then I switched my Jio SIM to another phone. So, did they stopped supporting it after that or it never worked for you?

I think it only works on sim1 at least with MI devices, I checked previous chats before porting out, those were on RCS from Jio sim

@Zuke When RCS was arrived in India, Jio was exclusively working with samsung messages. Slowly it arrived on google messages as well. But starting this year they removed samsung message support for RCS (don't know for what reason). I had to install google messages to use RCS with Jio sim on my samsung phone.

And it seems article writers are not ware of TrueCaller business chat which sends more messages (for updates) than on WhatsApp.

I still have RCS spam on my Jio SIM which was ported to airtel and back to Jio a couple of months back. When Google disabled the whole spam business after some tech news outlets started making news about it, it was calm for a while.

Google famously campaigned for Apple to "get the message" and use RCS, but now doesn't let rooted Android users use RCS.
