i don't think this changes anything. i might be wrong but from what i have read, Apple would use rcs for sending and receiving messages from androids when possible. imessage to imessage would remain separate. the problem with text bubble color that annoys google would likely still remain. at best it would possibly fix some issues like with sending and receiving photos between androids and ios. google would lose their excuse to cry. eu would probably be happy with this outcome and not force apple to open imessage and stuff.

Google talks about inclusivity coz green bubble makes them look bad. If they hadn't fucked up Google Chat, maybe people were still using it as their primary mode of online communication.
