@ijsa Sorry I don't have the number as the franchise is in Rajgarh Colony only few steps from my home and afaik he don't have presence in Krishna Nagar. Are you in A Block. Better contact excitel helpdesk @8010922000, they will give you the contact number of staff deployed by Excitel in our area.

Spoke to Janak Broadband, Rajgarh Colony, Shahdara, New Delhi, Delhi 110051. Tel.: 6516 7755

They told me, it will be another 20 days before they reach my place...
 
@ijsa still I suggest you to call excitel help desk and take the number of the excitel staff deployed in Delhi-110051. I guess some other LCO will take franchise in Krishna Nagar as Janak Broadband is slightly far away from F Block.
 
I did not had a so great experience with excitel mainly due to my local operator. There were a lot of unplanned and unscheduled downtime and like others i was not able to reach to customer care. On the other hand my local operator is eager to show up for package up gradation but no where visible when it comes to service restoration. So not so impressed with unlimited plan without FUP , i forcibly had to shift to another provider which till date is good in terms of speed but bad in terms of FUP.

I am on a 100Mbps 500GB Plan and sadly i am thrown into 3Mbps post 500GB within days because of the horrible speed.

Now coming to what I need...

I am a prehistoric guy by todays standards... as I was a BBS user before internet dawned in India...

I have used VSNL(14.4Kbps dial up days) & been on MTNL till date..
So you can very well imagine my endurance levels as well as my inclination for VFM....

I really hate the word FUP...

No doubt 15Mbps/100Gb/post FUP 1Mbps/Rs.999 is a good plan..

But I do not see any credentials...

And for me... a person on budget 5Mbps UL/ Rs.750/ youtube@20Mbps seems good enough....
 
@Suman Dash So how do verivoz deliver internet? Plan and speed you said are not n site.
I hope its not an advertisement post from single building/area isp.
 
@igloo . I have a direct fiber coming to my home which is then connected to a converter from where i get Cat5. Initially it was Cat5 cable when i was on 15Mbps plan but they upgraded the line once i opted for 100Mbps plan.

100Mbps plan is still not on website, maybe they forgot that they have such a sluggish and slow website.

I have seen some flyer in south delhi with 10 / 20 / 100Mbps speeds but again there was no price on it.

I called up customer care and to my surprise they gave me connectivity in Gurgaon but informed me that 100Mbps is experimental package and is in beta stage.

I did contact excitel help desk @8010922000.... number of times and on selecting Sales option...... they ask you to record your message but there is no callback....

I also spoke to Verivoz.... and he told me that they don't have coverage in my area..... and if at all they will provide any plan.... it will be at least Rs.10,000.00/ month...... which is beyond my budget, whatever he may offer....
 
@ijsa sales people do pick up phone sometimes. It's better talk to support people and tell them that Excitel is available in my area, if they can give the number of Excitel staff deployed in Delhi-110051
 
I have shifted to excitel broadband 3 days ago. I have opted for Reeltime 1149 plan with 10 mbps all time speed and 30 mbps peering speed.
The connection is awesome. No downtime till now and the local cable guy is also very polite and helpful.
