Hi everyone,
I am from New Delhi, bascially I am on tikona for 13 months now, each week was a living hell for me,I was shy to call anyone earlier but after one year I am a different person who can yell on call and make customer care listen...lol . Earlier I was on regular plans but after switching to SOHO plan ,A wind of calmness came to my internet experience .Infact Soho plans are awesome but still I loose connectivity for 2-5 minutes daily .Basically they overload the access point but if u get a business plan (1:8) ,things would but a lot smoother,Also in last 20-30 days, their services improved a lot but now I can't take it anymore.
I have two options : 1 To switch to DEN boomband with 2650 for 4 months(30gb at 5 mbps then 1 mbps thereafter) with free installation.
2: local cable(airtel distributer) is giving two plans ( installation -Rs 700) -
a :5 mbps 300 gb and 1 mbps thereafter FUP at 1200
b:1.5 mbps unlimited at 2250 for 3 month.

please help me choose and also tell me how to cautiously disconnect tikona without all those scary lawyers call that i have read on internet..lol

are you sure den and cable operator both options are available to you. because den exists under area of cable operators only.
though i ll prefer den out of two.

I have talked them both so yes both are available and moreover i guess that they are building their coverage from scratch as Cisco's docsis 3.0 is not cheap to implement by local cable.

do check whether that plan has web based login or some auto pppoe login which router can do.

I guess den has no login mechanism but local cable has a login page but he said that it will be bypassed if I request customer care (Airtel).
Currently Tikona charges 1500+tax for a static ip to bypass login.
Can u explain me what is pppoe router login stuff?

Now after 1 months of swithching from tikona to local isp, peace of mind is finally achieved.5 mbps 150 gb at 975. Tikona is still not disconnectin gbut i gues i will handle them smoothly.
