Windows 7 to windows 8.1 pro OS

Hi guys,

Need your suggestion for the below.

I am currently using my Desktop with Windows 7 OS. I am planning to change the OS to Windows 8.1 Pro.

Please let me know isit good to change and isit compatible with 32-BIT Operating system.
 
Get the Windows 8 32bit and it should upgrade your Windows 7 32bit edition.
I am not sure though if W7 Home can be upgraded directly to W8 Pro. Should work though.

thank you. Earlier i had W8 and it was taking too much of space and sometimes its not compatible for all. Hence wanted to confirm since i heard 8.1 pro is more upgraded version of W8
 
8.1 would probably not fix any compatible issue with software that you might have faced with 8.
