So I basically wanted reliance connection as it was 100 rs cheaper but they didn't have any open ports..

I was apartment hunting so one of the person recommended me tripleplay as they had 2mbps connection and he seemed really happy wid the connection. I went for it today and seriously it rocks. Stable and promised speeds.

The only thing I am nt sure of is how reliable it is. I will be keeping this for many months so I'll update here any new info I have on this connection.

fyi, tripleplay is local provider and if you have underground wireless of rj45, then u will get direct connection. U need router only.

This speedtest is at 1AM, i did the same at 3pm too and that time speeds were 2Mbps. Everything is basially awesome with this connection

there we go.. triple play's own isp/server speedtest. loving this connection , though it hasn't been 24 hrs that this got installed but still..

anyone using TPTL around Crossings-Republik Ghaziabad, as seems TPTL is the only choice there

Societies are not allowing any other provider in those apartments.

updating this thread for people who may want broadband services in dlf phase 3 u block.. here is the latest speedtest.

using the connection from last 3 months now, service is fantastic. downtime, really not much. paying 911 per month, and 2% discount if u pay online via payUmoney. reliance is cheaper but way too much downtime and if u contact customer care, they are pain in the ass. if i get downtime on this triple play, i just call them and they always give me a right ETA without any bullshit reason. Good service really. and speeds are more than what was promised to me on 911 2mbps connection as u can see on speedtest.

Seems too good to be true. I gave up and remained on airtel anyways...

do try it once, it sounds exactly how i make it sound bro. still very happy. let me know if u need speedtest. though i can't give guarntees for ur area, but in u block it is fantastic.

I am moving to 685 plan though next month.. in my plan they changed the plan from 911 to 915.. so in 4 rs they made the speed from 2mbps to 2.5mbps... i am moving to 685 with speed of 5mbps and at the same time data is 50gb only. but my last 3 months my data hasn't crossed 50gigs.. (used to do around 800gb in a month with college speeds back in the day but no more time these days because of the job , gf and other stuff. still i manage to do around 40-45gigs..

btw upgraded to 10mbps till 50gigs and 1mbps Unlimited today 😀 never been this happy in my life! such awesome speeds. always 1.1mb/s on torrents. here's the speedtest.

afaik triple play is same but name changes, but if they are diff, don't try den broadband as i have nt tried so i would not tell u to take chances...

speeds stays consistent. No downtimes nothing.. installation is 500 this is only i know off.. router i had my own so no idea..

in torrents for private of public, max i saw was 1.2mb/s which was consistent for the plan m using that is 10mbps till 50gigs and 1mbps UL after that paying 974 for that.. m thinking on going for 1774 plan which has 20mbps for 125gigs and 2mbps UL after that next month.. 😀

Can you show their router? And wiring? And basically more proof that triple play isn't shite... (except Speedtests)

I have my own router bro, Netgear. Wiring is of my building, triple play just connected the main wire to their board.. whole building wiring is underground. and what more proof? it sound like you are implying that i am like a sales person of triple play lol.. i won't get anything buddy. I am just very very happy with their services , that's why I made this thread. speedtests is something I can show.. may be torrent speeds if u will? lemme know.

I used tripleplay in U block for more than 2 years. Have to admit, its decent. The only thing not good is they supported peering (btcache) earlier with 8-9 mbps speeds on torrents but now they discontinued since an year.

Can you please post ping result of 203.117.155.202
and speedtest result of japan>tokyo cordeos corp. server from speedtest.net

Is your connection on Fiber or Wimax? And is your IP dyanmic or static?
