Idea Prepaid Data Recharges now have Carry Forward feature

Didn't received any notifications about the expiry?
 
Vodafone sends 3 days before to me ... and never after that... But, in a way doesnt matter to me as I keep the actual date noted down anyway...
 
For me idea is very notorious in giving these reminders. Never had any reminders from idea, but vodafone sends quite a lot of reminders and it starts 3 days before the expiry, it even sends reminders on the used data crossed in %.
Airtel also sends alerts but only through ussd

Idea 3G-900 coverage and speeds are very good. I get speed of more than 2 mbps most of the times. Max speed I got on my idea connection is around 7-8 mbps.
 
Well I can say this... I have to switch to 2G while in the basement of the house 😛 People on the other side can't hear my voice. I do not get texts (OTP mostly) if I am on 3G in the basement. On the move... It usually works well. But a lot of areas where data just doesn't work even if I have full signal on 3G.

But looking at the quality of service Airtel and Vodafone folks get in my house... I do not intend to switch for a while.

Strange though that you're having voice issues on 3G in the basement as opposed to 2G.
 
Yup. I can handle calls most of the times on 2G in the basement. Only around 10% of the times I have to run upstairs.

On related note... VoLTE or whatever Jio is going to use... Would it work on home connections? As in, if the phone cannot connect to any cellular network, would it be able to call using my home internet? 😛
