MTNL removes 1650 Unlimited Plan from Delhi NCR

Sad news for us. MTNL has taken off the 1650rs Unlimited 3g recharge of its website as well as 3rd party payment website.
I was going to recharge the same however could not find unlimited option.

Sue MTNL for this misconduct.

MTNL 1650 Unlimited plan is a lie. They will cap your speed when you reach to a limit decided by MTNL. I personally tried that plan and it was working until i reached around 35-40GB. After that, it was showing me 3G connection is active, but speed was stucked at 30-40kbps. You can make as many calls you want to their Customer Care, nobody will listen to your complaint, i can assure you that.

I used this plan more than 6 months and each month I download 250+ GB with 1 mpbs (in IDM) speed without any issue. I enjoyed this plan until It was there, never faced any speed capping issue.

This plan is closed since 1 Aug 2015 and recharge will be failed if you try from any third party.

So in the BSNL/MTNL rhetoric of revolutionary 2 Mbps speed upgrade, MTNL quietly terminated its Unlimited 3G Plan. Digital India campaign at work! lol
 
I wouldn't mind having unlimited 3G..in fact that's all I want as part of digital India..at least its better than the current portfolio of "Broadband Revolution of 2MBps"
