I am using DSL 2750U modem. All of a sudden few days I am experiencing very low speed. I checked SNR margin, it is fluctuating from 6db to 18db from time to time.
When snr is 6db, the internet speed is low. When snr is 18db, speed is as expected.
When I checked the ADSL settings in the modem, I have noticed that by default it's ALL, I have changed it to "Multimode" and checked only G.Dmt Enabled, now it's working fine.
What could be the technical reason for this sudden change ? Why the speed is as expected when adsl is changed only to g.dmt.
Please educate me.
