the user interface. the accessibility. 3G would be added in time. it does support wifi and bluetooth 2. they are only limited by the network capabilities of Cingular which would be their sole service provider in the USA for initial 2 years.
I hope this is not the only iPhoneApple are going to have . They should also be looking at designing an iphone in price range of 200$ to 300$ but i doubt as it would then directly compete with the ipods.Besides the iphone won't be available until 2008 so no need to get that excited.
u would be able to import unlocked versions from the united states... the government just made it legal to unlock phones in the USA. i bet if they become popular, they would easily be available from palika market by the end of the year for a fortune though.
they have the trademark over the name iPhone. its more of a gimmick. maybe they want to earn some million bucks for letting Apple use the word. it's weird that jobs went ahead and said that 'yeah, we are going to call it iphone'.now, apple would find it hard to change the name on a later stage.
oh, with iPhone they cannot afford to get it wrong.the point i made was... microsoft usually start with the notion that they would get the product in good shape in the second or third release. they were close to perfect on first version with the Xbox. they are trying to get it right with Zune though it did not impress many people.Apple has been doing some great things recently.. and the iPhone is the latest challenge they have taken. the concept is simple. change the way people look and thing about mobile phones. steve jobs was right... most mobile phones are way too complicated to use.
