my friend got an unlimited connection from mtnl recently ... he lives 4 houses away and is getting 2mbps. i thought maybe the mtnl guys designate plans and other things a few days later as he was also unable to login to mtnl website and check his plan. now its more than a week since he got the connection .. he's still on 2mbps (not that i want his speeds to be degraded:redface🙂. he can also login to mtnl's website and it clearly reads 'unlimited'. is mtnl giving 2mbps to all new connections ??? anyone else who got connection recently and getting 2mbps??

But with MTNL u cant ever be sure..rules are there but not always followed..so there is 20% chance that someone getting a privilege not entitled to it..may continue to enjoy it..

my friend got the mtnl connection (599u Night unlimited) on monday 14/05/07 and he is getting the min download speed of 120Kbps (KBPS) and maximum it rich up to 210Kbps and he is getting the same speed until now i dont know the connection wether it is unlimited or not

It must be TRiB 590 NU not 599u Night Unlimited .Is he getting this speed between 12:00 am to 8:00 am as well or Is he getting this speed during the day only ?If you don't know Ask him .

tha speed that i mentioned is form the night that is betwen 12.00am to 8.000am
in day he is getting min 150Kbps
