yeah. would come very handy. ikea has tons of good quality low cost items of daily usage.

yeah the articles goes into that. i have to get my ikea deliveries rerouted through a friend from a supported city lol. double courier charges plus annoyance for the friend. so it would be nice if i can order directly from next year. also not good coz i would end up buying a lot of shit lol.

Ikea has some good stuff like tables but mostly overpriced and okay quality stuff. Definitely not affordable compared to local if you are looking for something like bed, sofa etc.

Home centre, athome kinda places also have better quality bed and sofa than ikea.

In Hyderabad their stores have become picnic spot, you can only visit on weekdays now. Or buy online.

If you want to buy furniture for long term then local option will be better.

For other decor and home furnishing stuff you can find a lot of stuff at a single place and a lot of new ideas so that's nice.

They are good for utility items. Furniture is best if you consider them disposable after 4-5 years probably.

I mean I have bought a lot of their smaller items. Their wall clocks are very good. Much better than Ajanta shit. Soap dispensers, spoons, containers are also quite nice for the price. It's just annoying to pay for double shipping or inflated price through Amazon. So very much waiting for them to arrive in Gurgaon next year and hopefully online would start sometime later this year.

I bought some tables, mattress , kitchen stuff and utility stuff like iron stand, clothes drying rack etc.

Actually a lot of items lol. I still order online a lot of stuff

But for bed and sofa their quality and price is a joke and I am comparing with shops you can find at malls here like home centre, athome.

i don't know what their strategy is but its attracting really bad crowd now, who do nothing expect preventing real buyers from visiting their store. People are sleeping snoring on beds, sofa, doing photoshoot for Instagram in the model areas. Lot of broken damaged stuff.

Washrooms are not maintained anymore, if malls can do it ikea should be able too.

I have visited it before because of covid measures there was not much crowd and you could actually experience the store.

Can you imagine now in model sections they had to shut the WC with tape and big warning to not use it 😆

Their home delivery costs 100 bucks. Better to just order online if you know what you need I guess 🤷🏼

Gurgaon is also getting a smaller store so things would be worse here I guess.

yeah I just order online mostly. The store is actually quite close from my current location.

Its a massive place never ending maze lol, initially I was excited to visit the store but after 2-3 times, all orders are online 😛

Even if you visit the store its convenient to order medium-big size items online, you can do that from self checkout in warehouse/storage areas too.
