You guys might have checked reliance jio portal site previously and There i get to know that Reliance jio gonna give 4g service via Wifi to the home. I am not talking about mifi device which work with sim card.
Since FTTH is only for big cities and i do not live any of those city so i want to know about wifi service.
LTE sim must have some limit and would be provide reasonable data but wifi could be a better option for me.

But, If they are going to provide wifi via attaching Fiber cable to the wifi modem directly in the home then it is not going to happen in small cities 🙁

So, How would they provide 4g service via wifi? Will they install modem on house and that modem will receive signal from tower and will enable wifi in home? Is it how wifi plans work? Will small cities gonna get relienace jio wifi service or it is only for big cities?

Thanks

they will give you a cpe which will connect to tower and give you home jio tv ,home phone ,4g services and you do have option of a mifi device

you can understand by the above image
Looks good but I want to know how will they contact this cpe to the tower? Will they lay optical fiber from tower to cpe installed in my home or cpe will catch wireless signal from tower? I am worried that it require fiber cable to be attached from tower to cpe. If fiber cable is require than i have doubt they will provide this cpe in small cities.

I just check the image again and notice that cpe might be contact wireless signal from tower. Am i right? And will it be available in small cities?

CPE gets signal from tower of course wireless... This is how CPE of all operators (Airtel 4G, Tikona, BSNL WiMax, etc) work + the same is clearly indicated in the given pic..

I found one more image in which they have contected the cpe with fiber cable. I read the article and they will provide wireless as well as fiber. So is it the FTTH which people are talking. I have seen speed test of jio FTTH 100mbps speed but i have not seen laying fiber in my city anywhere. So should i accept wireless cpe in my city or fiber have still chances. Any idea how much speed this wireless cpe is going to give?

there is difference between LTE and FTTH the image you have opsted is of fiber cpe thats why it is connectected with a FTTH wire

and if you have reliance broadband coverage in your area you can definatey get the FTTH connection you can read this document -

after reading this you will understand what i mean to say
