    BSNL introduces new Broadband Plans

When I called up the BSNL guys they told me the Rs900,1000 and 1100 plans are all 2Mbps but they are changed to 256K after 7,8 and 10GB respectively. But when told him about the newspaper ads where different speeds are given he told me to wait and put me on hold. I waited for 2 minutes then hung up.

    BSNL introduces new Broadband Plans

@anonymus220 512k @ 599 1Mbit @ 999 and basically double speed at same rate like 256k was earlier 599 but now 512k is @ 599. AFAIK these are of Delhi. So BSNL and MTNL are same except for 512K

Which is the best wireless broadband plan and service provider?

Ok guys, I saw a Tata Photon ad:- 3.1Mbps speed and for Rs500 monthly charge they provide 0.5GB free. BSNL Home 500 gives 2.5GB + morning 2-8 free, but it is not wireless. Please suggest a good wireless broadband provider and plan if you know.

2009 and we are still stuck on 256kbps for broadband

Airtel does offer pretty good value for money by comparison with the other large ISPs, though I'm not sure that this particular plan is available in the Mumbai circle? I may be wrong here. i dont know about Mumbai but in Chennai it's available. What is your idea of a reasonable price for this...

2009 and we are still stuck on 256kbps for broadband

I assume Home500 is Rs 500/month, \"up to\" 2Mbits, 2.5GB limit (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.) This seems like an attractive plan, but personally I could eat that up with email and leaving my IM clients online without difficulty. Not to mention software updates! I can be certain that we won't...

2009 and we are still stuck on 256kbps for broadband

@kanishka will you please shut your trap? if things go how you say, then we'll be getting 2 mbps unlimited only in the year 2015 or 2020. good thing you're not the telecoms minister or we would still be in the jurassic ages using 32 or 64kbps for 1000Rs a month. think more practically. we are...
