Does anyone have idea about when Tata Sky is planning to switch for MPEG4?

we have already discussed this several times. tata sky cannot switch to mpeg4 unless they replace all the STBs already delivered to their customers.

Which they are trying hard for ppl to shift to TS+ which has MPEG 4 and then maybe switch as they will have lesser stb's to replace...They have already come out with MPEG 4 stb's now

and that tells everyone here... do not get tempted by offers to upgrade to tata sky plus for cheap. coz one day soon they would have to provide the updated STB for cheaper or free.

how do you know ts+ is capabale of receiving mpeg4?

Finally Tata Sky turns to MPEG4 technology. Their new DVR STB supports MPEG4.
