Today I saw a news on Dainik Bhaskar that BSNL have launched a 3g plan for Rs. 240 with unlimited downloads, but no further details are given. Can anyone throw some light on this plan.

Thanks

Seems to be only for postpaid.

Also no info on how much data in 'unlimited'. And no info on FUP too.

Its BSNL & being a govt org they cannot think to be funny.

The catch here would be

FUP(Fair Usage Policy) Limit at reduced speed of 80Kbps after 1GB and 2GB 3G Data

Think so but hope not, as that would be a useless plan. I wish they offer unlimited 3g for a reasonable price.

BTW anyone from MP here? Need your experience of 3g speed in your city as Mo'ne haven't been very good from the time they changed to single plan for 2g and 3g.

Thanks

I read the FUP limits on a blog which covers most BSNL related news...

I dunno. But for India, certainly. All it encourages is for people to replace their broadband connections with 3G. Not necessarily the consumers' fault, given the lack of options in most markets.
