I'm planing to get an unlimited connection from bsnl (broadband) and i found good modems are available for lower price and better than bsnl..(they are charging ₹1400 for a wifi modem ).Is that compulsory to buy their modem?
Hehe, Bsnl people in my area force users to get their own modem from market, so that they are not bothered for keeping router stock & replacement etc 😛
I actually got their modem on rent. It was a piece of crap. Eventually decided to get my own. Took two trips to the exchange to return it properly and getting their system updated. So best is to get your own initially 😀
Any modem with the usual RJ45 port, 4 Ethernet ports and Wifi is fine?
My Utstarcom WA3002G4 seems to be failing.
And it's so old even Utstarcom don't seem to know it exists. 😛
