Although cost does not always reflect reliability, steady connection, good service....please read below discussion for some descent advise from respected members.

Let me know if there are any errors....more cheaper options for Mumbai.

Airtel has reliability. MTNL probably has coverage. Real losers are consumers.

For 1Mbps plans, MTNL has 550 and 650 plans too. 2Mbps till 8GB and 1 Mbps after.

MTNL has excellent latency here. Reliability is great too for the most part. It is kinda unfair to mention the 4999 plan and list them as losers, considering they have a plethora of other plans with decent FUP limits and post FUP speeds.

I use MachOne internet in Thane. They currently charge 799 for 50Mbps and a limit of 100GB. Post 100 GB, speed is reduced to 8Mbps.

They also have a plan for 899, 20Mbps and no FUP.

You Broadband For Mumbai :-

1mbps unlimited for 3 months = 2384 which works out to roughly 795 per month ..

2mbps unlimited for 1 month = 1350/- ( im currently using this plan )

They seem to be new. Been more than a month now, no disconnections so far, fairly stable life. Not fiber, DSL. Only in Thane.
