Configuration for WIFI Router.

I have a Netis ADSL Modem and a D-Link Wifi Router.
The Modem has been already configured by the BSNL guy.
However I can't seem to get the wifi router working.
It was working fine on my Reliance Connection.
However with BSNL I can't get internet signals.

Please let me know proper configuration for Wifi router.

My ADSL modem is of Netis which has already been configured and net works fine by using ethernet directly from modem.
However when I connect ethernet to my Wifi Router which is D-Link DIR 600, there is no net connectivity in Wifi.
I am doubtful over what internet settings to set in Wifi Router.
Available options are Static IP, Dynamic IP, PPPOE and two others.
I used to select Dynamic IP in my wifi router with Reliance and it worked fine.
However with BSNL it doesn't work.

ok.. disable your dhcp and nat in D-Link and give an ip from netis network pool to wan port of dlink. thats all .. this will work ..
like if netis modem using 192.168.1.0/24 ie. 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0 assign ip 192.168.1.10 ( or any ip up to 254) to your dlink router and disable its dhcp and nat save conf. of dlink router and reboot both the devices.cable from modem to dlink will go in dlink's LAN port. ( DONT USE WAN PORT )
