Extremely PATHETIC customer service.

simply asking for 48 hours or 72 hours to resolve
as if customer has no other work but to wait
for their call or engineer sitting at home.

Hi, I am Shanker from Hebbal Kempapura Bangalore and have an exact similar issue

Airtel is happy to sell their hotspots and dongles without doing a feasibility survey

I have a recording of a call I had with Mr. Wasim, their device support team manager

This gentleman says that their hotspots and dongles have a chipset that is different from their routers and will not provide a good speed if the network signal is not optimal

I have faced this problem in 2 locations of Bangalore - Hebbal Kempapura and Palace Guttahalli

Wasim feels that the signal may be weak in both areas

These cheats do not understand that these are mobility devices and that they should not sell them if they themselves cannot assure proper speeds within Bangalore

I have sent these guys notices and am waiting for my lawyer to come back from his vacation next week before I file a complaint in the Consumer Courts

Meanwhile, Airtel refuses to provide their chairman's email id. Does any one have his ID. If so, please share it
